Amazing accommodation with clean and well-kept rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, convenient location near train stations and a bustling shopping and food area, loved the extra touches like slippers and tea ceremony, and a beautiful note and gift bag from the owner to show appreciation for my long stay. Absolutely loved it!

Our stay at Hostel Sakura La An in Osaka was superb for our large family. The rooms were nicely set up with private bunks, a comfortable couch, large windows, and a small fridge. We especially loved the Japanese-styled terrace and had an amazing experience with a matcha ceremony. The hostel's cleanliness was impeccable, including the restrooms. the hostel's location was perfect for exploring Osaka, and we found it easy to access other nearby cities like Kyoto and Nara for day trips.
My wife says that the only suggestion she has for families with children is to have more variety for breakfast beyond just toast and jam.

The room was spacious and the hostel was chill, perfect for us cool teenagers. It's super close to the Metro station and there are mad restaurants and shops nearby. Plus, we were able to easily explore Kyoto and Nara as epic day trips.
If there was one thing we'd ask for, it would be a rad party or social area where young people like us could hang and have fun. Rock on!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Sakura La in Osaka for a business trip, and I must say that it was a fantastic choice made by our director. One of the highlights of this hostel is its amazing location. Situated right along the famous Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, stretching for about 2.6 kms, it provided endless options for shopping and discovering local cuisine. It was truly convenient to have such an exciting array of shops and restaurants within walking distance from the hostel.

We had a great stay at this hostel! The room was spacious and perfect for three people with big luggages. The place was quiet and very clean. The breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. The black tea they provided was really comforting. We loved the scent of the shampoo and shower gel. The location was convenient, only a 5-10 minute walk to the metro station and close to the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. It was easy to find restaurants, convenience stores, and witness different activities of the Tenjin Festival.
Felt like part of the family, no complaints whatsoever.

I absolutely adored the traditional Japanese decor throughout the hostel. It brought back memories of my visit to Japan many years ago. The common areas were beautifully decorated with touches of nature, including a peaceful Japanese garden. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The elevators were spacious and well-maintained, making it comfortable for me to navigate the floors without any hassle.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience, it would be for the staff to enforce quieter hours in the late evening. While I understand that young people can get excited, it would have been more considerate if the children working there had reminded guests to lower their voices during nighttime, especially for senior guests like me who value a peaceful and restful night's sleep.
